It is with sorrow that we note the death on 12 June 2015 of a Past President of Mid North Shore District, Miss Joy Hippisley.

Joy was a member of Ku-ring-gai Women’s Bowling Club until its closure in 1990, at which time she was Club President. Joy then became a very supportive member of Warrawee WBC, including serving as Club President.

She was President of Mid North Shore District from 1998-2001, then became Group Representative for Group L (which in today’s WBNSW structure would be “Region 15 Representative”). Joy also served for many years on the State Match Committee.
