Congratulations to Belrose Gold, winners of Grade 3 Pennant on a count-back from Turramurra.  Both sides ended with 47.5 points;  however, Belrose Gold finished with a Margin of 188 shots and Turramurra a Margin of 123 shots. Belrose were presented with their new purple and silver badges and pennant flag on Tuesday 12th May, on a day when the club was celebrating the 100th birthday of member Mollie Monk. Mollie was accompanied by her lifelong friend Hazel Barnes, also formerly a Belrose bowler, who had her 100th birthday last year. The Belrose Gold side was Joan Carew (Skip), Angela Little, Lorraine Hazzard and  Kaye Alderton, Carol Keech, Betty North, Del Connors and Eleanor Swain (Skip).

Neutral Bay Grade 1 Side

District President Billie Maas was at Neutral Bay on April 29th to present the very excited Grade 1 and Grade 4 sides with their beautiful purple and white North Shore District pennant flags and pennant badges. Grade 1 Manager Catherine Ryan assisted Billie with the presentations and Neutral Bay Patron Joan Hodge was also in attendance. The Grade 1 side was Louise Hamshere, Elizabeth Blackwell, Jenny Hepburn and Jenny Palmer (skip), Lesley Szumylo, Michelle Campbell, Maggie Jay and Lynne Thompson (Skip). The Grade 4 side was Lee Eastaugh, Rosemary Dale, Trish Wilson and Gill Barton (Skip) Pam Carpenter, Virginia Ware, Belinda Henderson and Suzie Anastasio (skip). Di Gould also played two games for Grade 4.

Mosman was presented with their Grade 2 Pennant badges and flag by Billie and Diane McBryde (Grade 2 Manager) on Tuesday 5th May. It was a special day at Mosman as it was also their 42nd Birthday Party.  The Mosman side was Ann Barron, Toshiko Czinege, Jenny Hole, and Julie Hayden (skip,) Denise Owen, Judy Moyes, Trish Tamaoki and Jeyam Siva (skip).
