Congratulations to Patricia Tan from Belrose who played superb bowls to win the final of the District Singles at Belrose Bowling Club. Patricia played Billie Maas, also from Belrose. The final was a close fought match until the latter part of the game when Patricia drew away to win 25-15. Both players were in top form and provided great entertainment for the many spectators watching the match.

In the semi finals played in the morning Patricia defeated Di McBryde from St. Ives,  and Billie defeated Julie Hayden from Mosman.
