REGIONAL PLAY-OFF WINNERS

In an exciting day’s play at Mosman Bowling Club, the Belrose team of Gwen Butters, Denise Levy, Diane Kent and Eleanor Swain got off to a good start in the Senior Fours, and a 5 late in the game sealed a comfortable win over Rosalie Vade’s team from Mona Vale. In the Open Fours, it was a very tight contest all the way, with the Harbord team skipped by Virginia Longfellow clipping out Neutral Bay’s best bowl on the last end to finally prevail over the team of Elizabeth Blackwell, Jenny Hepburn, Jenny Palmer and Lynne Thompson.

The victorious teams have earned a berth in the State Play Offs at Tuncurry on 24-25 October 2016 … we all wish them GOOD LUCK!
